journey to strength

Hi! I'm Cathie Gould
As a coach and developer, I'm passionate about helping people and organisations align their day-to-day efforts and experiences with their purpose and values. My work is driven by a deep conviction that when individuals and teams work from their talents and strengths, transformative impact is not only possible, it’s inevitable.
My career is a mosaic of diverse experiences, from business ownership and management in technology and food businesses, to community development work in the not-for-profit sector. These threads of experience have given me a unique perspective on the human factor in business and community organisations, and the insights needed to help clients navigate their personal, workplace, and strategic business questions.

I use a number of powerful tools to help clients achiever their goals. I am a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach, using the CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) assessment to help clients discover and aim their unique talents and strengths. I am certified facilitator of The 6 Types of Working Genius from Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group, helping organisations align their work with their strengths for joy, fulfillment and success. I am an 'elephant rider', a certified practitioner for culture, leadership and stakeholders of The Emotional Culture Deck from riders&elephants, helping individuals and orgnanisations uncover, explore, craft and create their emotional culture. I am also a trained facilitator of Lives Transformed modules on emotional health.

My work is a natural progression of my passion for human thriving. It brings me great delight to coach and mentor others, mobilising action with warmth, passion and strategic insight. I love to see people stepping into their potential, bringing collaboration, wellbeing and positive impact to their relationships and working lives.

“When [what you are deeply passionate about,
what you can be best in the world at
and what drives your economic engine]
come together,
not only does your work move toward greatness,
but so does your life.
For, in the end, it is impossible to have a great life
unless it is a meaningful life.
And it is very difficult to have a meaningful life
without meaningful work.
Perhaps, then, you might gain that rare tranquility that comes
from knowing that you’ve had a hand
in creating something of intrinsic excellence
that makes a contribution.
Indeed, you might even gain that deepest of all satisfactions:
knowing that your short time here on this earth
has been well spent,
and that it mattered.”
